3, 2009 ....Ground Service Technology, Inc. today announced that its board of directors has
named Jennifer Erler to serve as the company's chief executive officer and president.
Jennifer Erler,
CPESC, has served since March 2003 as vice-president of Ground Service Technology where she has spent her career
in a range of general management, operations and project management positions. Prior to her current responsibilities, she
was also GST's senior SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) inspector, SWPPP educator, and resident CPESC
(Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control).
Jennifer Erler said, "GST is one of the
best erosion control companies in the industry, with a proud history of innovation, outstanding talent and enviable positions
in many of its product lines and services. It's a great honor to take this position with its leadership team
and have the opportunity to build on its success." Jennifer Erler will take up her new duties on May
1 and continue as a member of GST's board. She succeeds Hank Erler, a company founder and veteran who has been a
principal since 2001 and chief executive officer since 2003. Hank Erler, will remain interim CFO
and continue to serve as a member of GST's board.
Jennifer announced that one of her first goals is to
have GST become certified as a SBA recognized WBE (Women Owned Business Enterprise)/DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) with
8A certification.
Ground Service Technology is SBA certified member of

Wal-Mart to pay fine for runoff violations Retailer to improve controls at all construction sites.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc., the nation’s
largest retailer, will pay a $3.1 million fine to settle a Clean Water Act violation stemming from
excessive storm-water runoff from its construction sites, federal officials said yesterday.
Wal-Mart also agreed in the settlement with the Environmental Protection
Agency and Department of Justice to improve runoff controls at the more than 200 sites each year where the company builds
stores, including Sam’s Club outlets.
"Storm-water requirements have been in place for a long time," said Thomas
Sansonetti, assistant attorney general for environment and national resources. "Developers like Wal-Mart must share responsibility
with their construction contractors to ensure compliance." continued.....
